SNAP Benefits Fully Restored in Utah

On November 12, 2025, a federal budget agreement was reached, officially ending the shutdown. The Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS) has confirmed that all SNAP operations are back to normal. Any missing or partial November payments are being issued to EBT cards, and all new and existing applications are being processed without further delay.


How to Apply for Utah SNAP

  • In-Person or Mail/Fax: You can also submit a paper application at a local DWS office.

If you have an urgent need for food, you may receive benefits within 7 days. You may qualify if:

  • Your monthly income is less than $150 and you have $100 or less in assets.
  • Your income and assets are less than your housing and utility costs.
  • You are a migrant or seasonal farmworker.
